Pep Guardiola, manager of Manchester City, asserted that Inter Milan is a “bigger club” than them.
In an interview with BT Sport before Saturday’s Champions League final, Guardiola made this statement.
While Inter wants to end a 12-year trophy drought after winning it in 2012 under Jose Mourinho, City is attempting to capture the trophy for the first time.
“I watched Inter’s matches, and we tried to play our part. Everything culminates in a game, and the team that plays its best over the course of 95 minutes will prevail.
We are the favorites to win the match because Inter Milan has a longer history in this competition than we do, but what’s crucial is that at 10 p.m. Istanbul time, we put on our best performance because that could be the deciding factor.
