In the state capital, there was a noticeable increase in traffic at Galaga Junction, Kabba Junction, and the area surrounding Sabo Market.
It was learned that all of the rooms in multiple hotels were booked up.
As of the time this report was filed, many of the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) personnel stationed throughout the state for election-related tasks, security personnel, and journalists had not yet secured housing.
In numerous hotels, it was noted that bookings had been made for rooms. Election watchers, NGOs, political parties, and government officials reserved the apartments.
