Prior to the state’s rerun poll on Saturday, the Independent National Electoral Commission, or INEC, in Oyo State has received both sensitive and non-sensitive materials.

According to the Obasanjo News24, Saturday has been set aside for the Saki West state constituency rerun poll.
Both sensitive and non-sensitive materials for the election at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Ibadan branch in the Dugbe area have now been received by the Commission in Oyo.
Under strict security, the materials were received by the Commission in front of Mr. Agboola Razaq, the INEC administrative secretary, members of major political parties, and other stakeholders.
Speaking, the state’s resident electoral commissioner, Dr. Rahman Adeniran Tella, stated that the commission had received six boxes containing replacement forms, result sheets, and ballots.
He announced that two BVAS machines and two backups would be used by the Commission for the experiment.
He continued by saying that Hamzat Adebola, the Oyo State Commissioner of Police, had committed to sending out 182 police officers for the poll.
