India detains two Nigerian women for narcotics offences
Pushkar Police in India have detained two Nigerian ladies, Adaze Jayei, 43, and Lagantius Chamika, 23, together with 65 grammes of mephedrone.
They were found in possession of a digital wave machine, 65,000 Indian Rupees, and 65 grammes of mephedrone, according to First India on Sunday, October 29.
An additional estimate of the medications’ estimated value was 600,000 Indian Rupees.
According to Rakesh Yadav, the police in-charge, an inquiry has been launched and a case has been filed under the NDPS Act against both.
Yadav said that information has also been forwarded to the control room and higher officials.
