Incident: Four relaxation parks destroyed by fire

Thursday night, four leisure parks on Audu Bako Road close to the Muhammad Abdullahi Wase Teaching Hospital (MAWTH) in Kano State were destroyed by fire.

Newsmen received confirmation of the event from Kano State Fire Service Public Relations Officer Saminu Yusif Abdullahi.

The fire had already done a great deal of damage to the parks by the time the fire service arrived, but he said they had managed to put it out after sending out people.

Additionally, Abdullahi clarified that an electric spark from a kitchen at one of the nearby restaurants was the cause of the incident.
