During the presidential election in Osun, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) received the most votes overall.
On Saturday, February 25, 2023, the country as a whole held the presidential election.
This was announced at the INEC collation centre in Osogbo on Sunday by Professor Folasade Ogunsola, the Osun State INEC collation officer.
The PDP garnered 354,366 votes, according to Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos Professor Ogunsola, while the APC received 343,945 votes, placing them second.
With only 23,283 votes, the Labour Party received a pitiful third place.
According to the Electoral Act, the outcome would be forwarded to the INEC National Collation Centre in Abuja.
