Authorities say that troops from Operation Forest Sanity in the Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State have killed two bandits and destroyed a number of their hiding places.

During battle patrols along the Kaboresha-Rijana Forest-Kuzo-Kujeni-Gwanto-Kachia axis, the soldiers made a lot of progress, according to Samuel Aruwan, the state commissioner for internal security and home affairs, who confirmed this on Tuesday.

The soldiers positioned an ambush along the Gwanto-Kwasau Road and battled bandits riding motorcycles toward the location. Three motorcycles were found, and two bandits were slain.

He claimed that the soldiers also raided bandit camps in the general Kutura-Rijana area. Upon spotting the troops, who had just demolished the camps and taken three motorcycles, the outlaws fled into the forest. Bandoliers and many sets of military uniforms are among the other objects found.

He went on to say that the government is begging people to keep giving important information while the fight against bandits goes on.
