The recent disturbances in the Rivers State House of Assembly around the impeachment process of Governor Similaye Fubara have prompted the Nigerian Police Force to launch an inquiry.
According to OBASANJONEWS24, while Speaker Martin Amaewhule’s delegation of the House members delivered Fubara an impeachment notice and fled for safety, tear gas was being fired outside the complex.
