Popular Nigerian disc jockey, Florence Otedola, also known as DJ Cuppy, has addressed those urging her to get married by questioning the notion that age is not in her favor.

The music star was puzzled by being labeled “old” at only 32, questioning what people in their 40s would be referred to as.

On Tuesday, she posted on her X handle: “At 32 years old, I find it amusing that some people are calling me old. If that’s the case, what do we say about those in their 40s? Prehistoric? Fossilized? Museum pieces? Nawa.”

DJ Cuppy’s single status has been a topic of interest for many online users, including some fans who often take the opportunity to question or tease her about it.

In February, DJ Cuppy predicted that Valentine’s Day in 2025 would be the last one she experiences as an unmarried woman.

She had earlier mentioned that her ideal man is a 6-footer who works as a banker.

Her latest relationship was an unsuccessful engagement to British boxer Ryan Taylor.

The pair went their separate ways in July 2023, just seven months after their surprising engagement in November 2022.
