says he would destroy Nigeria’s criminal justice system

Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s candidate for president, has said that he will go to war with the electricity industry if he wins the election in February.

This was something Obi stated on Monday at Chatham House in the UK.

“We’re going to revamp the power industry.” Today, Nigeria generates 56,000 megawatts for 200 million people, and South Africa, with 60 million people and the second-largest economy on the continent, generates over 40,000 megawatts, but both countries have declared a power emergency.

“I’ve stated that anyone with our license can generate up to 100,000 megawatts.”

“What do you suppose someone with two million people generating 5,000 to 6,000 MW will do if a country with 60 million people generating over 40,000 MW declares a power emergency?” War!
