The winner of the Big Brother Naija “All Star” reality show is Ilebaye Odiniya.
During the show’s finals on Sunday in Lagos, she outperformed the other housemates to win the N120 million cash prize.
The statement was made by the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
The third housemate to leave Season 7 of the reality TV series in 2022 was a 22-year-old Kogi graduate in criminology and security studies.
She is now the third woman to win the BBNaija grand prize thanks to her triumph.
Ilebaye will also receive a few further compensations.
As the first runner-up, Mercy Eke went on to win Big Brother Naija season four in 2019, being the first woman to do so.
While competing in the “Pepper Dem” version, Mercy won N60 million.
The second runner-up was 31-year-old lawyer Cynthia Nwadiora, also known as CeeC, from the “Double Wahala” edition.
The third-place finisher was Adekunle Olopade, a 27-year-old digital consultant and entrepreneur from Lagos State. Pere Egbi and Cross Okonkwo finished fourth and fifth, respectively.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), there were 20 housemates when the show premiered on July 23. Later on in the run of the programme, four houseguests were added.
