Ikwuemesi, a forward from Nigeria, has transferred to Salernitana, a Serie A team

The signing of forward Chukwubuikem Ikwuemesi by Serie A team Salernitana has been confirmed.

The former Flying Eagles striker moved from Slovenian club NK Celje to the Garnets.

An agreement for four years was signed by the 22-year-old.

At his team, Ikwuemesi’s jersey is numbered 22.

For NK Celje last season, he scored nine goals and contributed five assists.

William Troost-EKong spent time on loan at Salernitana past season, making Ikwuemesi the second Nigerian to ever play for the club.
