President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Ijeoma Uchegbu, a distinguished researcher and professor of pharmaceutical nanoscience born in Nigeria, on her election to lead Wolfson College, one of the 31 colleges affiliated with the University of Cambridge.
This was said in a statement made on Sunday in Abuja by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the President’s Special Advisor on Media and Publicity.
According to Ngalele, Uchegbu is a professor of pharmaceutical nanoscience at University College London (UCL) and is well-known for her inventive work in nanoparticle medication delivery.
According to Ngelale, President Tinubu praised Uchegbu for her exceptional achievements and acknowledged her as a superb representative of Nigeria.
He said the President stated Uchegbu embodied the creativity, intelligence, and diligence that are constantly associated with the wonderful Nigerian people both domestically and internationally.
He added that Tinubu had also commended her unwavering efforts to push the boundaries of pharmaceutical science.
“In keeping with his ‘4D Foreign Policy,’ President Tinubu assures Nigerians in the Diaspora that his administration is dedicated to creating a strong interface mechanism that harnesses ideas, promotes investment opportunities, and strengthens bonds,” Ngelale stated, wishing the professor, who was born in Nigeria, more success as she assumes this significant role.
