The Ijaw Youths Network, a civil society organisation, applauded President Bola Tinubu for extending the pipeline protection contract given to Tantita Security Services Limited for a further three years.
In a statement released on Sunday, the IYN Coordinator Frank Ebikabo and Secretary Federal Ebiaridor praised the President for his exceptional leadership in pursuing Nigeria’s overall well-being.
According to the organisation, Tantita Security Limited’s courageous efforts to stop the senseless theft of the country’s oil resources were further vindicated by the President’s choice to disregard a campaign of smears organised by a number of self-serving individuals.
According to the IYN, the President’s determination to step up the fight against the oil thieves who have been crippling this nation’s economy for years is demonstrated by the fact that the contract was renewed despite the fierce campaign launched against the firm.
The organisation also honoured Mr. Mele Kyari, organisation Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL), for his remarkable display of patriotism and toughness in the country’s ongoing battle against oil theft and economic sabotage.
The group claimed that the Kyari’s choice to work with local security agencies to address the country’s hydra-headed existential economic crisis was a genius move, as demonstrated by Tantita Security Services Limited’s indisputable accomplishments.
The IYN encouraged the NNPC GCEO to disregard a bunch of unhappy militants who are publicly threatening him for upholding the law.
They observed that by providing badly needed answers to a serious crime carried out by a group of wealthy criminals who targeted the heart of the country’s economy, the NNPC led by Kyari merely did what was anticipated.
The group brought the Department of State Services’ attention to a shadowy organisation named the Supreme Egbesu Freedom Fighters of the Niger Delta that had threatened the NNPC GCEO over the renewal of the contract.
The pair suggested that the so-called Supreme Egbesu Freedom Fighters of the Niger Delta inform Nigerians if they are still engaged in armed conflict or have been granted amnesty by the president.
He pleaded with the Director General of the DSS to take notice of the group’s warning, which does appear to loudly and actually insinuate that they would engage in regional sabotage activities.

We will join hands with other agitating militant groups and notable ex-militant leaders as well as ethnic nationalities stakeholders to do everything humanly possible to disappoint the GMD NNPC Mele Kyari, Sen Heineken Lokpobri Minister of petroleum state, including those corrupt villa cabals that have been bought over with millions of Dollars, be Should be looked into

To prevent a potential attack on the country’s vital economic assets in the Niger Delta, they ordered security authorities to make sure that individuals responsible for the threat are properly tracked and detained.
The Ijaw Youth Network applauds President Bola Tinubu and his team for re-awarding Tantita Security Services Limited the contract for pipeline protection.
“We in the IYN think that this President is prepared to take on the lethal cabal of oil thieves in Nigeria head-on after watching the Tantita team’s commitment to the fight against the unprecedented theft of the country’s resources.
The President and his government have demonstrated a laudable commitment to the cause of Nigerians by making this choice, which was made in particular in defiance of the persistent blackmail and pressure from opponents working for wealthy and powerful oil criminals. We applaud him.
The Group Chief Executive Officer of the NNPCL, MALLAM Mele Kyari, has received tremendous support from the IYN for his unbiased approach to tackling the problem of oil theft in Nigeria.
“We advise him to disregard those irate individuals who have swarmed the media to extort him. Given Tantita’s enormous success, Kyari made the proper decision when she suggested the contract be renewed.
“We request that the Department of State Services investigate a threat made by a group of individuals who identify themselves as the Supreme Egbesu Freedom Fighters of the Niger Delta. Sen Heineken Lokpobri, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, and the NNPCL GCEO had received threats from this organisation regarding a renewed contract that was awarded following the customary process.
“But this time, we will not sit down, fold our hands, and allow such to happen under our nose. We will join hands with other agitating militant groups and notable ex-militant leaders as well as ethnic nationalities stakeholders to do everything humanly possible to disappoint the GMD NNPC Mele Kyari, Sen Heineken Lokpobri Minister of petroleum state including those corrupt villa cabals that have been bought over with millions of Dollars, beg to differ,” the statement reads.
