This occurs less than a day after the Police Service Commission promoted Ciroma and Mba from Assistant Inspectors General of Police (AIGs) to Director General of Police (DIG).
The transfer of the Deputy Inspectors General of Police (DIGs) Hafiz Inuwa, Bala Ciroma, and Frank Mba has been authorized by the Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba.
This occurs less than a day after the Police Service Commission promoted Ciroma and Mba from Assistant Inspectors General of Police (AIGs) to Director General of Police (DIG).
Inuwa was appointed to lead the Department of Logistics and Supply, according to a statement released on Saturday by the Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi.
According to reports, Ciroma and Mba, who were recently promoted, have been appointed to lead the departments of planning and research and training, respectively.
With the latest promotion, “DIG Ciroma has taken on the role of supervising DIG for the North-East, while DIG Mba assumes a supervisory role over the South-East Geo political zone,” the announcement states.
The IGP also gave his approval for the appointment or redeployment of seventeen (17) Assistant Inspectors General of Police to different commands and formations.
