The former US president claims his ‘corrupt’ successor will be prosecuted during his reign.
Donald Trump, the leading Republican candidate for the US presidency, said in an Alabama audience on Friday that if he wins the presidency again in 2024, he will name a special prosecutor to look into alleged crimes committed by the “Biden crime family” on his first day in office.
On Election Day 2024, we’re going to remove corrupt Joe Biden from the White House, Trump promised the crowd at a Montgomery fundraising event. Trump has been indicted three times in the past four months as a result of many criminal investigations into his actions. The Washington, D.C., halls of power will be cleared of the criminals and thugs.
On his “first day in office,” the former US president promised to appoint a special prosecutor who would “study each and every one of the major claims being brought forth by Congress concerning all the corrupt acts, including bribes from China and many other foreign countries that go into the coffers of the Biden crime family.”
The accusations against Trump, including conspiracy to defraud the US, were presented by Special Counsel Jack Smith as part of an inquiry into the events leading up to the riots that broke out at the US Capitol in Washington, DC, on January 6, 2021. Trump made his remarks just one day after entering a not-guilty plea.
The 77-year-old is currently under investigation for allegedly obstructing government efforts to obtain documents that were allegedly withheld on purpose at his Florida house. He is also implicated in a another case that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is pursuing that involves financial misconduct and fabricating corporate records. He refutes all accusations of impropriety.
Trump told the Montgomery audience that the “fake charges” being filed against him amounted to “election interference.” Polls indicate that Trump is the clear leader to win the Republican Party’s presidential nominee next year.
This is occurring for a straightforward reason, according to Trump. The most inept and dishonest president in US history is Joe Biden, according to some.
Trump didn’t go into any detail regarding his charges of criminal activity by the Bidens, but it is widely believed that they are related to claims that Joe Biden and his son Hunter unlawfully benefited from a relationship with the Ukrainian natural gas business Burisma Holdings. The Bidens reject claims of wrongdoing connected to China as well as allegations of criminality connected to Ukraine.
Assertions of tax fraud are among the legal issues Hunter Biden is currently facing.
Moreover, Trump was explicit about what he would do if he were to take back the presidency: “The tables must turn, and we will destroy the Deep State.”
