ID Cabasa Claims the True Purpose of Marriage Is Lost

According to ID Cabasa, the fundamental purpose of marriage has been overshadowed by contemporary changes. Read his perspective.

ID Cabasa, the renowned Nigerian record producer, also known as Olumide Ogunade asserts that marriage has now lost its initial purpose.

He believes that happiness or emotional contentment is not the objective of marriage.

In a recent interview with Echoo Room, ID Cabasa was the speaker.

“The purpose of marriage has unfortunately been lost,” he stated, adding that it was not intended to provide happiness or fulfill emotional needs.

The intended outcome of pursuing your purpose is happiness and other blessings. When you center your purpose around God’s leadership, which designates the man as head of the family accountable to God, it follows that women should submit to their husbands rather than surrendering entirely.

Actually, there’s a stipulation attached to that submission: “As unto the Lord”, meaning it only applies while the man remains under God’s protection.

When a man leaves God’s protection, the woman is left empty. Therefore, it would not be fair to blame her for failing to comply with submission.

Nowadays, the issue lies with submission. Women perceive it as a form of surrender when in reality, it is not.

The experienced producer stated that the male gender has deviated from God’s initial design and taken on a different form, particularly in western societies.

In America and the Western world, in my perspective, there is a hierarchy that places children, women, animals ahead of men. To be specific, even plants are prioritized before men.

He stated that men have been instructed to remain silent and observe, resulting in the cultivation of males suffering from agony. Consequently, premature male mortality is on the rise.
