Similanyi Fubara, the governor of River State, has declared that he is prepared for any result from the state’s impeachment situation.
Fubara stated that he won’t be the first or the last to be impeached.
Following rumours that certain state House of Assembly members had signed Fubara’s notice of impeachment, the governor issued this declaration on Monday morning.
Speaking to his followers, the beleaguered governor claimed that he was shot by security personnel.
“We woke up this morning with very troubling news,” he continued. We visited the assembly so that I could observe what was going on.
“It doesn’t matter that the OC operation shot me right on my way there. In one way or another, somebody will pass away. Either at home or while driving is where you pass away.
“I won’t be the last to be impeached if I am.”
