In a revealing video, a woman explains her actions of tearing her husband’s passport at the airport, expressing her frustration and emotional turmoil. Her candid remarks shed light on the personal circumstances behind the dramatic incident.
Mrs Favour Igiebor, who has been identified as the woman in a viral video tearing her husband’s passport apart, explained that she had endured too much within their marriage and was compelled to take action for herself.
Mrs. Igiebor shared that her years of sacrifice with her husband cannot be forgotten so easily in just a moment.
Implying the need to defend herself, she cautioned viewers of the video against arriving at conclusions without first asking pertinent questions that may have prompted her actions.
I have been aware of the issue for an extended period, but I chose to ignore it until my return to Nigeria where I took action.
It’s important to inquire about the underlying circumstances rather than simply observing my behavior. I wish not to be perceived as someone irrational, capable of impulsively acting in that manner. There’s a background story and personal experiences have shaped me over time.
Once it reaches your neck, action is necessary. I chose to wait until we were in Nigeria instead of Europe where I could have done it because I didn’t want him to experience excessive stress. Please refrain from making assumptions without understanding the situation completely. Dealing with family issues has been a challenge for me on numerous occasions.
“I can’t suffer alone, as I endured it alongside him. Yet unexpectedly, they desire to dismiss my agony without a second thought.”
“Will you only know that this woman remained silent until the day of my death? My actions have spoken louder than words; I’ve been enduring it.”
Previously on Monday, OBASANJONEWS reported that the Nigeria Immigration Service initiated an investigation into the occurrence.
According to the NIS, her conduct may contravene Section 10(b) of the Immigration Act of 2015 (as revised), which forbids intentional destruction of travel documents issued by Nigeria.
Such offenses have particular penalties outlined in the act.
