The late Indian rapper Sidhu Moose Wala played a part in the artistic failure of Grammy-winning Nigerian vocalist Damini Ogulu, also known as Burna Boy.
He claimed that the late rapper served as his inspiration at a time when he was “musically exhausted.”
Before Sidhu Moose Wala was killed in May 2022, the singer of “African Giant” claimed they were working on a joint project.
This information was provided by Burna Boy during a recent interview with BBC Radio 1Xtra in London, United Kingdom.
He claimed, “He [Sidhu Moose Wala] was one of the greatest inspirations I had at a time when I felt like I’ve already accomplished everything musically. Since I was listening to everything and nothing was making sense to me musically, I felt like I had tired myself mentally.
“I felt as though I had covered everything. Everything has been said already [in songs]. Sidhu, however, gave my musicality a different perspective. He is legendary. The Punjabi myth. There won’t ever be another.
