According to Idris Dahiru, a resident of Tudun Biri in the Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, 34 members of his family perished in the Nigerian Army’s aircraft bombardment on Sunday night.
Over eighty villagers were killed when a Nigerian Army drone bombed a gathering honouring Maulud, according to Obasanjo News24. The army, meanwhile, has apologised for the bombing and said that terrorists were the primary target.

“Unexpected airstrikes shattered our annual Maulud celebration,” the speaker stated. According to Dahiru, the first bomb went off without warning, murdering innocent people—including women and children—and tearing apart some of the victims, as reported by BBC Hausa.
“The plane returned and detonated a second bomb as we hurried to assist the injured; many of the people who had come to assist were among the dead this time.
“Just my family has lost 34 people as a result of this tragedy. At Barau Dikko Hospital, 66 of our loved ones are receiving medical attention,” he continued.
