Bamike Adenibuyan, also known as Bambam, was a former Big Brother Naija competitor who has talked about her experiences with postpartum depression and childbirth.
According to Bambam, she was diagnosed with preeclampsia during her first pregnancy, according to a recent interview with well-known media personality Chude Jideonwo.
The mother of two claimed that having a baby changed her figure.

Bambam thanked her husband Teddy A for his support during the difficult prenatal transitions, but added that she chose to ignore internet trolls who made fun of her weight increase since “they can’t understand”.
“My body has never become this thick, but thank God for encouraging husbands like mine. Just picture a spouse who was closed off to the adjustment periods I experienced during every pregnancy.
“Compared to my first pregnancy, this one was even more merciful. I moved from size 8 to 14/16, from maroon to black. Acne and skin tags both plagued me.
“I was taken aback. Postpartum depression struck me. I was disorganised. I was unable to comprehend. I changed completely.
“I have to ask the doctor, ‘Why does my baby look so white?'” Her eyes were grey, but they are now brown. She had such a changed appearance. By the time I got to the hospital, she had separated from my placenta and I had hypertension from her pregnancy.
“The time I was pregnant was a miracle. I became depressed after giving birth because I couldn’t stop imagining all the scenarios.
