I inherited debts from Buhari, haven’t repaid a dime, and have a balanced budget – Tinubu
President Bola Tinubu stated that he inherited assets and liabilities from his predecessor, Muhammadu Buhari.
The President claimed that his administration has not cut the budget or a single dollar during a meeting with governors elected on the All Progressives Congress, APC, platform in Abuja.
According to Tinubu, “the situation we have witnessed is fundamentally one in which I inherited both the assets and liabilities of my predecessor.”
“There has been no reduction to the budget. This is the first time you and I have entered the council chamber. However, we must continue. We must make decisions that affect everyone.
You, as progressive intellectuals within our party, have a crucial role in educating the public and ensuring that we manage ourselves.
