Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State, has attacked people who have criticized him for the special guests he chose to commission his project.
The governor was addressing on Monday in Port Harcourt at the dedication of the newly built Dr. Peter Odili Cardiovascular and Cancer Screening Center.
He advised anyone who intended to raise their blood pressure as a result of his actions to do it right away.
When asked why they weren’t invited to commission the project, he said, “Why don’t you invite me to commission in your own location?
I may choose who I wish to invite to visit and commission work.
“Adams Oshiomole will come and commission on Wednesday, Peter Obi will come and commission on Thursday, and President Buhari will commission the Nigerian Law School on Friday,” he continued. Kwankwaso will arrive and commission on Monday. Therefore, I invited the people I wanted, and it is entirely up to you if you want to have high blood pressure.
