Chika Lann, an actress and director, has stirred up debate about her beliefs regarding Christianity and the concept of heaven.
She said in a video posted to her Instagram page that she is not trying to go into paradise, and she warned people who were pushing her to repent to stop.

Rather of focusing their energies on experiencing “heaven on earth,” she urged people to work hard and pray to their ancestors for wealth.
“Please refrain from making comments such as “Repent, heaven is real.” My aim is not to create heaven. It would be preferable for you to start working hard and praying to your ancestors to make you wealthy so that you can live and experience heaven on earth, rather than praying and waiting to go to heaven. You are suffering now because you desire to enter paradise, the woman remarked.
