Bashir Ahmad, Special Assistant on Digital Communications for former President Muhammadu Buhari, has expressed sympathy for Peter Obi’s decision to remove a tweet in which he referred to Bola Tinubu as Mr. President. Peter Obi is the presidential candidate for the Labour Party.
Due to his lack of self-control and his opinions, Bashir classified Obi’s acts as low.
The president’s 120-car convoy was criticized by Obi in a tweet after he returned from France. Obi is contesting Tinubu’s declaration as the winner of the most recent presidential election. Tinubu is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress.
Apparently depicting the president driving in a convoy of roughly 120 cars, he had tweeted. Although I have not yet had a chance to view the aforementioned video, my advise is still the same: leaders at all levels of government must begin making sacrifices for a better Nigeria.
Later, he took down the tweet and replaced it with a new one that referenced a popular motorcade video instead of the “120-car convoy of Mr. President.”
Bashir wrote, “That was really low. I repudiate what you did. Peter, the previous Labour Party candidate for president, is so without self-control or self-esteem that I genuinely feel sorry for him.
How can you take down a well-written tweet addressing your president as Mr. President just because some people who purport to be your followers intimidated and pulled you?
