1Da Banton recently shared that he was the mastermind behind the creation of Davido’s hit track ‘No Competition’ with Asake.
Additionally, he also took credit for producing another one of Davido’s songs, ‘Na Money’, which features Angelique Kidjo and The Cavemen.
During his appearance on the Afrobeats Podcast hosted by Adesope, the ‘No Wahala’ singer opened up about his contributions to Davido’s music, shedding light on his involvement in the production and songwriting process.

Moreover, 1Da Banton revealed that his interest in pursuing a career in music was sparked by none other than Nasboi, a well-known skit maker and musician.
Surprisingly, Nasboi served as a source of inspiration for 1Da Banton when he was romantically involved with the singer’s sister.
