Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party (LP), has asked Nigerians not to vote for a president who is not physically or mentally fit to lead a sick country.
Saturday, Obi campaigned in Osogbo, which is the capital of Osun State. He told people there that he has the mental and physical strength to bring Nigeria back to its former glory.
He told Nigerians to look into any candidate who wants their vote in the elections at the end of this month.
Obi urged his followers to obtain their permanent voter cards and vote out the outdated establishment that has ruined the nation at the rally’s location in Osogbo’s Freedom Park.

The Nigeria Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress members attended a town hall with the previous governor of Anambra State. The candidate also spoke to youth and women’s groups, and his wife, Margaret, advised them to vote for the candidate who would provide them with more long-term benefits than short-term benefits on February 25.
Datti Baba-Ahmed, the Labour Party’s vice presidential candidate, also said that the wave of support for their joint ticket is just the beginning. He also said that the Obi-Datti administration will use economic, legal, and diplomatic strategies to deal with the N77 trillion debt that the current administration has racked up.
