Hwande is appointed director of BSUTH by Gov. Alia
Dr. Stephen Hwande has been appointed chief medical director of Benue State University Teaching Hospital (BSUTH), Makurdi, by Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia.
Dr. Hwande is a consultant gynaecologist with extensive expertise. Prior to his appointment, he served as the Medical Director and Chief Executive Officer of First Fertility Hospital, Makurdi, according to a statement signed by Tersoo Kula, the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary.

According to the announcement, “His Excellency believes that Hwande will fit into his new role to resuscitate, reposition, and effectively manage the hospital for effective healthcare service delivery as one who is innovative, creative, and adventurous.”
The appointment is effective right away.
