Hunters successfully apprehend bandit, rescue 74 cows in Kebbi

The Nigerian Hunters and Forest Security Service in Kebbi state successfully neutralized a suspected bandit and recovered 74 stolen cows that were being taken to Niger Republic. The state Commander, Musa Hussaini-Rambo, disclosed this information in Birnin Kebbi, mentioning that the incident took place in JarKuka, Bachaka ward of Arewa Local Government Area.

The stolen cows have been handed over to the appropriate authorities for the return to their rightful owners. Additionally, the hunters apprehended two suspects involved in the theft of armoured cables, with one specializing in vandalism and theft, and the other purchasing the stolen items at N5000 per kilogramme.

These suspects were captured in the Gwadangwaji area of Birnin Kebbi and will be transferred to the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps for further investigation and legal action. Hussaini-Rambo emphasized the commitment of the hunters to support security agencies in combating crimes, particularly in forested areas throughout the state.
