Ned Nwoko opens up about Regina Daniels’ decision to reject wealthy suitors, including pastors and oil moguls, to marry him, sharing the unique bond that brought them together.
Senator Ned Nwoko, the representative for Delta North, has supported his wife actress Regina Daniels’ statements about having many suitors prior to their marriage.
In an October revelation, Regina Daniels shared that she had dated over 20 boyfriends before meeting the senator. This claim was backed up by a video on her Instagram account showing Nwoko discussing the matter with friends.
In the clip, Nwoko acknowledged that Daniels had attracted high-profile admirers such as pastors, oil moguls, and film producers, underscoring the intense competition he encountered.
He praised Daniels for her virtuous character and expressed gratitude to her mother, Rita Daniels, for instilling strong moral values in her daughter.
“She’s truly a gem. As she mentioned not long ago, she’s had relationships with 20 men—indeed, she did,” Nwoko stated.
She mentioned that she had many suitors, including reverend pastors, oil magnates, and film producers. She told me how they pampered her with gifts but assured me she never got involved with any of them. By the time we married, she was still a virgin.
“I appreciate her mother’s guidance, as it helped prevent her from going astray.”
Ned Nwoko also reflected on his unique proposal.
He disclosed that he first reached out directly to Daniels’ mother, sidestepping traditional customs, and encountered resistance from her family.
He explained, “I approached her mother to explain my purpose for being there. Although tradition dictates that I should visit the father and uncle’s house, I decided to forego formalities due to time constraints.”
I am interested in this girl and planned to act quickly, but I was advised that the proper approach involves meeting her family. So, a week later, my family and I arranged a visit with hers.
That day, I wore jeans and a shirt. As we were leaving her house, I heard about an issue within the family because someone contacted me. The caller informed me that Regina’s brothers and mother were arguing with her; they broke some glasses, leading to Regina leaving the house.
In her Instagram caption, Daniels shared her joy at hearing her husband speak fondly of her.
“Regina Daniels wrote, ‘My hubby sent me this adorable video his friend made, and I just had to share it. Isn’t it sweet how conversations about me with his friends and colleagues happen so spontaneously?'”
