Why police were able to secure the magistrate’s release and the arrest of the suspects

The victim is alleged to have been taken from her farm in Ayegun Village at around 1730 that day via Eyenkorin, Ilorin, according to the spokesman.

He said that as soon as the information was received, Kwara State’s Commissioner of Police, Paul Odama, deployed a team from the Anti-Kidnapping Unit, together with vigilantes and local hunters, to the location to comb and look for a potential victim rescue.

“The victim was geo-located to have been hidden in the forest between Eyenkorinarea and Ogbomoso axis. This discovery encouraged the police forces to step up their search, rescue, and arrest operation in the discovered area, which resulted in the arrest of the victim,”

The police head promised that the police would not give up in their pursuit of a potential end to crimes and criminality in the state after empathizing with the victim and her family on the unpleasant and terrible experience during her time with the abductors.

In order to avoid unintentionally feeding abduction victims in their region, he asked the good people of Kwara State to always be alert and aware of what is going on around them. He also advised them to keep an eye on any unusual persons they encounter and to watch out for their behavior.
