Abela in Sango Ota, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State resident Daniel Chigozie, 30, was detained by agents of the Amotekun Corps on suspicion of selling his nine-month-old kid to three separate purchasers.

According to David Akinremi, the commandant of the Amotekun Corps in Ogun State, the security agency received information that the father had sold his kid, Daniel Chinonye Darlington, in serial trades to three separate purchasers at various places in the Sango, Meiran, and Apapa region of Lagos.

Obasanjonews24 learned that between August 2022 and February 2023, the guy received payments of N150,000, N400,000, and N700,000 from unidentified customers.

According to Akinremi, a probe by the corps showed that the guy, who is suspected of collaborating with a criminal organisation, established a method for retrieving his kid from each buyer after each sale until he sold him to the last bidder, a Dr. Nosa in Apapa.

According to Obasanjonews24, the suspect, who admitted to the crime in his testimony, is being profiled by the National Agency for the Prevention of Trafficking in Persons in preparation for a follow-up investigation to locate the youngster and for possible prosecution.
