Vice President Yemi Osinbajo claimed to have written a letter to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) requesting that it look into charges made against him but did not turn it in.

He claimed that President Muhammadu Buhari, who jokingly advised him not to proceed with the letter, persuaded him otherwise.

“I went to him one day because I was the subject of certain accusations. “And since I was so furious, I went to see him and showed him the letter I had sent to the EFCC requesting an investigation,” Mr. Osinbajo stated at a celebration of the president’s 80th birthday in Abuja.

He gave it and me a good look. In addition, he occasionally refers to me as Professor or Vice President, and this time he remarked, “VP, why do you bother yourself about all these people? These guys simply offer a variety of unfounded accusations and fabrications. They themselves are claiming that I am set to remarry. Even some stupid people awaited my arrival and second marriage at the National Mosque.
