Hisbah Arrests Prominent TikTok Star in Kano

Aliyu Usman, the leader of the Surveillance Unit of the Board, verified the apprehension. Usman disclosed that G-Fresh was captured at his Badawa residence on Sunday at approximately 1 p.m.

He mentioned that despite numerous invitations for counseling, G-Fresh had been avoiding them for some time.

Usman personally contacted him several times, urging him to come in, but he refused each time. Consequently, they had no choice but to find and detain him.

Usman mentioned that G-Fresh is currently under investigation while in their custody.

The TikToker’s arrest was a result of his alleged inappropriate remarks and the incorrect recitation of Fatiha during the recent Sallah celebrations.
