Hezbollah’s leader, Hassan Nasrallah, has made it clear that his organization is fully prepared for a large-scale conflict with Israel.
In a televised speech, Nasrallah emphasized that Hezbollah would not be limited by any constraints or rules if war were to be imposed.
He warned that there would be no safe place from their missiles and drones, and that the current confrontation is the most significant battle since Israel’s declaration of independence in 1948. Nasrallah also revealed that Hezbollah possesses a vast amount of information about Israeli fortifications and deployments, and claimed to have undisclosed weapons ready to be used.
In a surprising move, he also threatened Cyprus, stating that if it hosts Israeli forces, it could become a target as well.
On Tuesday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) made an official statement declaring the completion of their operational strategies for a potential offensive in Lebanon.
In response to the United States’ plea for caution, Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz emphasized that his nation was nearing a critical juncture where they might alter their approach towards Hezbollah and Lebanon.
Katz further asserted that in the event of an all-out conflict, Hezbollah would face complete annihilation while Lebanon would suffer significant consequences.
It is worth noting that Israel’s previous significant encounter with Hezbollah occurred in 2006, which saw a ground invasion into southern Lebanon resulting in substantial casualties for both sides and no substantial military advancements.
