Former Minister of Transportation Chibuike Amaechi expressed his frustration with how Nigerians are reacting to the current economic challenges.
 
Amaechi disclosed this information during an interview with Igbere TV.
 
The former governor of Rivers State mentioned that he anticipated youths would take to the streets in protest against the high cost of living, but so far, there’s been little indication of their commitment.
 
People have every right to be upset when they witness a group of individuals taking their money without consequence. I am truly frustrated with the citizens for not taking action in response.
 
“Consider what occurred in Edo State; should any politician really be campaigning there? Frankly, many of us can no longer afford to purchase diesel because it’s so expensive,” he remarked.
