Hamas Chief’s Sister Arrested in Israel, Reports Say
According to media reports, Israeli security forces have arrested Zebah Abdel Salem Haniyeh, the sister of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, on charges of incitement of terrorism.
The police claim to have found evidence linking her to serious offenses against Israel, including documents and telephones. Initially, the suspect was not identified, but defense sources have confirmed her identity.
The operation, named ‘Early Dawn,’ involved multiple departments and was aimed at ensuring peace and security for Israeli citizens. Some Israeli media outlets have reported that Haniyeh will be detained until April 4.
This arrest comes as Israel continues its campaign against Hamas in Gaza, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowing to eliminate the militant group.
