Gusau College of Health warns students against wearing immodest clothing
Halliru Mande, the Deputy Provost of the College of Health Science and Technology in Gusau, has issued a warning that the institution would not accept any students who are dressed inappropriately and exhorts them to always conduct themselves properly.
Mande issued the caution while fielding inquiries from reporters in his office.
The new students were given the responsibility of abiding by the college’s rules and regulations, in particular the dress code and other laws as well as the school’s ideals.
He stated that attending to school alone can never effectively instruct children and that indecent dressing starts at home because most parents do not care to control what their children are wearing.
“Teachers can try their best and leave the rest to the parents, but they can’t always do everything. Nobody who is educated can expect their children’s school to take care of everything for them.
Halliru also urged guardians and parents of students to make sure that the fees for their wards were paid on time.
