According to the Guardian, gunmen who are purportedly holding Isaac Gbaja, an assistant manager at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Lafia branch in Nasarawa, hostage are requesting N10 million in ransom.
Gbaja was reportedly kidnapped on Monday, November 13, 2023, along with two other unnamed individuals.

It was said that at approximately 8:00 p.m., he and the other victims were kidnapped.
It was also discovered that he was picked up at his wife’s location on Kwandere Road, Tudun Gwandara, Lafia, Nasarawa State, which is close to MACFES Royal Suites.
This is the most recent event to transpire in less than a day following the release of Lafia Local Government Council member Agidi Ajeh, who was abducted by unidentified gunmen.
As for the alleged abduction of CBN employees by the Nasarawa State Police Command, it has not yet been confirmed.
