Gunmen have kidnapped 10 travellers along the Bonny-Port Harcourt waterway in a disturbing incident.
No fewer than 10 travellers have been abducted along the Bonny-Port Harcourt waterway, suspected to be by unknown gunmen believed to be sea pirates.
Monday’s early hours saw the incident take place.

Israel Pepple, the Chairman of Maritime Workers Union in Nigeria’s Rivers State District, confirmed that ten individuals were kidnapped today while traveling from Bonny to Port Harcourt. He stated definitively that it is not a rumor but rather an actual occurrence and has already been reported to security agencies.
The matter was not yet briefed to The Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Olatunji Disu who pledged to provide additional details once informed.
