Gunmen Enforce Sit-at-Home Order in Abia, Two Soldiers Feared Dead

Unknown shooters are allegedly responsible for the deaths of two troops on Thursday while implementing the sit-at-home directive.

At the Obikabia intersection in Aba, Abia State, more than fifteen masked gunmen ambushed the military soldiers and set fire to their patrol van.

The attackers can be seen intermittently firing before burning the military van on fire in a viral video.

According to Obasanjonews.com, a soldier eventually surfaced, and a narrator over the footage bemoaned that “it seems like he is the only one who survived; others have been killed.”

An SUV vehicle and a Sienna were used by the gunmen.

At the time of filing this report, there had been no communication regarding the claimed event between the Abia State Police Command and the Military.
