Gumi: I’ll advocate for Southerners, not Tinubu’s government – Fani-Kayode
According to Femi Fani-Kayode, the former minister of aviation, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi’s tirades against the government don’t worry him.
This was revealed by Fani-Kayode in an audiotape that he posted on his Facebook page on Sunday.
The contentious ex-minister made the audiotape public following Gumi’s contentious sermon in which he referred to FCT Minister Nyesom Wike as a “satanic person” due to an alleged conspiracy to work with Israel to secure the federal capital territory.

Gumi asserted that if the FCT and Israel worked together, Muslims would suffer. He further emphasised that it was risky to entrust Christians and people from the South with the security of Nigeria.
After hearing this, Fani-Kayode responded, saying: “I am not very concerned with the rantings of this little monkey against the government because there are many people in government who are paid to answer to him and handle things, and I am not in government.
But I’m worried by his outbursts against the Christian community and what I take to be all Christians and Muslims in the South.
