Gubernatorial Election: PDP Prepared to Assume Control in Ondo, Says Acting National Chair, Damagum
The Acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Umar Damagum, expressed confidence in the party’s ability to emerge victorious in the upcoming Ondo state governorship election.
Speaking at a meeting with party stakeholders, Damagum emphasized the importance of unity and urged the candidate, Alfred Agboola Ajayi, to collaborate with other aspirants to secure the party’s victory.
Damagum criticized the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for their chaotic primary process and highlighted the PDP’s successful selection of a candidate without any dissenting voices.

He emphasized that the party’s preparedness and unity were evident in their decision to have all aspirants come from the south.
Damagum advised Ajayi to work hard and engage with the people of Ondo state to ensure the success of the PDP.
