Former France international Patrice Evra has chosen Kylian Mbappe above Antoine Griezmann as the best candidate to lead France.
Evra made this statement in support of manager Didier Deschamps’ selection of Mbappe as France’s captain over Griezmann.
The former Manchester United player asserted that Mbappe is extremely educated but Griezmann, despite having 118 appearances for Les Bleus, is not a leader.
“He [Mbappe] has been selected; this state of affairs will not alter. You think to yourself afterwards, Antoine, that it’s the oldest. But take care: Kylian Mbappé, in my opinion, is extremely bright, according to Evra, as reported by RMC SPORT.
“Antoine is going to speak when… I noticed that he was silent when I was there. He is neither a leader, a unifier, or someone who will give a speech before to the game. Following then, you might offer him the armband thanks to his knowledge.
