Graham Potter looked at how Mykhailo Mudryk did in his first game for Chelsea on Saturday against Liverpool.
Chelsea paid almost £89 million to get Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk in January.
In the 55th minute of play, the Ukraine international took the field off the bench.
The winger, who was unfortunate not to score on his debut, energised the game with his high level of activity, excellent runs, good passes, and excellent decision-making.
When asked about the 22-year-old’s performance against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool team, the English manager responded, “He’s been on a mid-season holiday.” He hasn’t played football in a while.
“You can see his quality, but we have to manage his minutes.”
