The Nigeria Governors’ Forum is scheduled to hold a meeting tonight in Abuja to address various topics, including local government administration, the excess crude account, and petroleum profit tax.
This development occurred just hours after the governors and Council of Traditional Rulers held a private meeting at the State House on Wednesday.

Sources within the NGF Secretariat in Maitama have indicated that the governors are set to gather at 9 pm.
The forum, led by Kwara Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq, is anticipated to feature presentations from Adeola Oluwatosin Ajayi, the Acting Director General of the Department of State Security; Namadi Sambo, former Vice President and Chair of Delegation at the African Medical Excellence Center; and Engr. Mele Kyari, Group Chief Executive Officer of NNPC Limited.
One of the sources informed our reporter that key topics on the meeting’s agenda include updates on the United Nations General Assembly, ECA, reconciliation of PPT and royalties accounts/debt net-off, and billing issues concerning ground rent from the Transmission Company of Nigeria.
