Governor of Bauchi praises Tinubu for selecting Pate as Minister
Governor of Bauchi State Bala Muhammad has praised President Bola Tinubu for appointing Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, a son of the state, as the Minister of Health and Social Welfare.
When the Governor paid the Minister a visit in his Abuja office on Wednesday to discuss methods to establish a cooperative working partnership for the provision of high-quality healthcare services, he offered the commendation.

Mohammed stated that the ministry under Pate will be helpful and significant in helping his administration address the issues confronting the State’s health sector.
He went on to say that as he was a native of the area, everyone should pitch in to help address the problems facing the crucial health sector.
Mohammed claimed that Pate has the necessary expertise to offer practical answers to the problems impacting the nation’s human capital and health sector.
He went on to call the minister a technocrat with significant international renown for his work in the health sector, and he praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing him to that position.
Bauchi is proud of Pate’s commendable initiative to solve issues with primary, secondary, and tertiary health systems, according to the governor.
He also advised the Minister to keep working with subnational actors notably in Bauchi State irrespective of political party disagreements to allow him succeed.
Mohammed expressed his gratitude to the President for the appointment and gave the assurance that the people of Bauchi State will keep up their support of the federal government in order to help the President be successful in his future endeavours.
Thanking Governor Mohammed for his visit, Pate said that President Tinubu’s Federal administration was getting ready to realign the nation’s health system for maximum efficiency.
The Governor has made significant investments in the health sector, and he was commended for them. He said the Ministry he leads was always willing to collaborate with the Bauchi State Government in the areas of effective and efficient healthcare service delivery.
The governor’s visit and encouraging remarks guaranteeing the state’s sufficient representation at the federal level were much appreciated by Pate.
