Governor of Adamawa selects 30 Special Advisers

30 special advisers have been appointed with the governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri,’s approval.

The state Assembly had already authorised his principal’s request to appoint special advisers, according to the governor’s chief press secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou.

There are 30 new special advisers, including Halilu Hammawa Malabu, Halilu Lamu, Ishaku Philemon Tala, Alh. Buba Bello Sugu, Ibrahim Gisilambe, Usman Yahaya Diyajo, Adamu M. Babikkoi, Hon. Abdulrahman Bobboi, Murbuge Abraham, Safrat Dungus, and Alvari Gundiri.

Others include Augustine James, Idris Salihu Jada, Bala Buba Mohammed, Hilda Makanto Mni, Justina Obadiah Nkom, Abubakar E. Chiwaren, General Mormoni Bashir (RTD), Robert Ahidjo, and Dr. Reuben Joel Wazatigye.

The remaining individuals include: Hon. Dishi Khobe, Dr. Salihu Hayatuddeen Zumo, Hajiya Hauwa Garuja, Usman Adamu Gangshariya, Dr. Thakma Sini Amos, Mr. Yazza Thame, Dr. Hammajam Ahmed Adamu, Hon. Musa Mahmud, Alh. Usman Aliyu Marafa, and Hon. Mullam Zamdayu.

In the announcement, the Governor claimed that the decision was made on the basis of merit, skill, and moral character. He also stated that the appointees must provide copies of their resumes by Friday at the latest.
