Governor Fubara Reshuffles Cabinet Amidst Crisis in Rivers State
Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers has reorganized his cabinet in the middle of the State’s political upheaval.
The Governor redeployed Prof. Zacchaeus Adangor, the state’s attorney general and commissioner of justice, to the Ministry of Special Duties (the governor’s office), according to a statement made on Tuesday night by Dr. Tammy Danagogo, the secretary to the Rivers State Government.
Additionally, Fubara sent Isaac Kamalu, the Commissioner for Finance, to the Ministry of Economic Empowerment and Employment Generation.
The Governor requested that they turn over to their individual permanent secretaries right now.
He declared: “As this deployment takes immediate effect, they are to turn over to their respective permanent secretaries immediately. All outstanding procedures need to be finished right away.
